Our Client have a career opening for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join the team .
Duties
- Responsible for running a workshop with a small team of trades
- Working with the Production Administration and Engineering teams to ensure production time frames and deadlines are met
- Conduct regular Toolbox meetings to communicate planning and team direction
- Equipment maintenance and replacement in collaboration with the asset management team
- Responsible for ensuring all items are fabricated correctly and the QA process is adhered to
- Prepare job packs for all fabrication department
- Mentoring, training and supervising production staff
Skills & Experience
- High level attention to detail, and a process driven mindset
- Ability to read drawings
- Driver’s license
- Forklift license
- Metal fabrication/boiler maker or other relevant qualification
- Commitment to safe work processes
- Positive and can-do team player who is keen to develop their career
