Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

Job Description:
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing control systems for a wide range of industrial applications. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that the control systems meet both technical specifications and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and commission control systems for automation and process control applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Develop control algorithms and programming for PLCs, SCADA systems, and DCS.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Provide support for ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of control systems.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including system specifications, control strategies, and testing procedures.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in control systems technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Proven experience with control system design, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), SCADA systems, and DCS.
- Strong understanding of control algorithms (PID, fuzzy logic, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA design and configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Desired Skills (Optional):
- Experience with process control in [industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.].
- Knowledge of safety instrumented systems (SIS) and functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, IEC 61511).
- Experience with automation software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
